Life at Cross Keys

We offer a safe and welcoming setting with 9 individual bedrooms spread across two floors. All rooms vary in size and layout, and residents are encouraged to personalise their spaces with their own furniture and belongings. Bedrooms on the first floor are fully accessible via lift, and all are ensuite for added comfort.

Our home includes a spacious lounge, communal areas, a calming sensory room and dedicated outdoor spaces. An internal courtyard offers a private area for reflection or small gatherings, while the external garden provides a peaceful place to relax, enjoy nature or socialise.

We’re proud to be part of the Penryn community, with Cross Keys being within walking distance of the town centre, train station, and local shops, providing excellent access to amenities and nearby Falmouth and Truro.

Cross Keys Food & Nutrition

Food & Nutrition

At Cross Keys, we know that food is about more than just nutrition, it’s also a source of comfort, enjoyment and social connection. Our team provides freshly
prepared, home-cooked meals each day, tailored to meet the dietary needs, and preferences of our residents.

Mealtimes are a relaxed and social part of the day. Residents are encouraged to eat together in our dining area, though meals can also be enjoyed privately
if preferred. We offer choice at every meal and take time to understand each individual’s tastes, allergies or requirements.

Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day, and family and friends are welcome to join at mealtimes by arrangement.
Cross Keys Activities & Hobbies

Activities & Hobbies

Residents at Cross Keys are supported to take part in a wide variety of activities tailored to their interests and abilities. Whether enjoying quiet hobbies at home or outings in the community, we support individuals to make the most of each day.

Our wheelchair-accessible transport enables residents to explore the wider area in comfort and safety. All activities are adapted to each individual, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to engage in ways that are meaningful to them.
Cross Keys Personal Care

Personal Care

We firmly believe that every individual deserves care that is as unique as they are. We work closely with each resident, their family, and professional networks to create a personalised care plan that reflects their needs, preferences and aspirations.

These plans are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure that support remains consistent, flexible and responsive. We place residents at the heart of every decision and focus on empowering them to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.
