At Trevaylor Manor, we are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment where residents can enjoy their day-to-day lives with the highest level of care. Our dedicated team focuses on each individual’s wellbeing, ensuring that every resident receives tailored care that meets their unique needs.

Food & Nutrition

We recognise that food plays an important part in the enjoyment of life and understand that good nutrition is vital in the overall health and wellbeing of older people. Our Head Chef and dedicated kitchen team prepare a diverse, nutritious menu, offering fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.

Residents are welcome to enjoy their meals in our comfortable dining rooms, either with other residents or in private, depending on their preference. We strive to make mealtimes relaxed and enjoyable, fostering both nourishment and social interaction. Should residents prefer, meals can also be served in the privacy of their rooms.

Family and friends are welcome to join their loved ones for meals, with prior notice and for a small fee.

Activities & Hobbies

At Trevaylor Manor, our Activities Coordinator works closely with residents to create a diverse and engaging schedule of activities and hobbies.

We encourage residents to share their social, cultural, and leisure interests, which helps us tailor activities and plan outings using the home’s minibus.

Participation is always optional, and we are happy to adapt activities to meet specific preferences or needs if required.

Personal Care

Our approach is personalised to the individuals that we support. We work with each individual, their loved ones and professionals to design a care plan that is tailored to their needs and abilities. Our care recognises individual, spiritual, emotional and physical needs. We look at the six domains of wellbeing and take the time to understand each individual’s life story, what and who motivates them and how best to support them.

Care is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we work with you to develop a comprehensive care plan based on your needs, which is assessed with you, on an ongoing basis.

Care at Trevaylor Manor

Our homes are led by an experienced Clinical Lead supported by a trained in-house team of Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants.

Each of our homes has a programme of Activities with opportunities for support from in-house Physiotherapists, Chiropodists and Hairdressers. Everyone who lives in our homes also has the support of Exemplar Health Care’s clinical experts, including our Behaviour Support Specialists.

We also work closely with community teams and other professionals, where required, to ensure that residents receive the required support to meet all of their needs.

Home Manager

Brondi Sheehy

I have worked in Healthcare for over 17 years having qualified as a Nurse more than 10 years ago. After working in different settings, I came back to the care home setting as it is my passion. Being able to support residents and their loved ones, ensuring that they have the best possible experience in our home and feel a part of our community is extremely rewarding.

I thrive in challenging situations and pride myself on my adaptability. I encourage our team to always look for the positives and what we can learn from every situation. This enables the home to constantly move forward and embrace new challenges, it allows the team to grow and feel pride in their work.

Prior to joining Poldhu I previously held the position of Registered Manager at our sister home in Penzance, Ponsandane.
