Swallowcourt celebrates national dementia finalists at the Great British Care Awards 2026

Swallowcourt had a wonderful evening attending the national finals of the Great British Care Awards in Birmingham, where we were proudly shortlisted as Dementia finalists at a national level.

Reaching the national stage is a huge achievement and a powerful recognition of Swallowcourt’s ongoing commitment to delivering outstanding, compassionate dementia care. While we were unsuccessful in taking home the award on the night, being named among the very best in the country is something we are incredibly proud of.

Representing Swallowcourt were Kim Pankhurst, Managing Director; Lindsay Beasley, Trainer and Learning & Development Lead; and Louise Barnett, Carer. They are all true ambassadors for excellence in dementia care and consistently demonstrate the values, professionalism, and compassion that sit at the heart of Swallowcourt.

Their dedication to improving the lives of people living with dementia is exceptional, both individually and as a team. National recognition of this calibre is richly deserved, and they remain absolute winners in our eyes.

Everyone at Swallowcourt is immensely proud of Kim, Lindsay, and Louise. Thank you for representing the Swallowcourt family with such passion and heart at the awards and every day.
